HBE Machine Inc.

About Us

Our History

In the early 1980s, Tom Hedrick spent his spare time tinkering with performance diesel pulling-tractor parts with Ralph Hedrick and Jim Ebert. By 1985, they had progressed far beyond tinkering and incorporated as a side business. Then, a customer at Tom’s day-job needed a part-take-out machine to extract plastic components from its blow molding machine. When Tom’s employer was too busy to design and build the required machine, an agreement was made for Tom to build it in his shop in the evenings.

That project helped launch HBE Machine, which in 1992, became Tom and Ralph’s full-time employment.

Since our inception, we have expanded our services to include several different industries, while still remaining true to our roots, the part-take-out unit and plastics industry. We continually innovate and improve our machines to meet today’s and tomorrow’s industry needs.
